A “secret” concert in Sorrento

…It wasn’t really secret, of course. But in a town where the #1 industry is tourism, we saw only one poster for this concert. It had the name of the church but not the address. The tourist office said it knew nothing about it. And even at the church, no poster went up until about an hour before the event. Our guess: The organizers didn’t want a wonderful event with amazingly good singers overrun by a horde of tourists. I hope they didn’t mind just two. The concert was held on Mother’s Day, and at the end, small gifts of beautifully-wrapped chocolates were given to all the mothers in the audience, including Celia.
